Getting to the Villa
Villa Casasol at Cabanas de Tavira is easy to reach. It is a 40 minute drive from Faro Airport towards Spain, and there are many taxis and cars available for hire. The villa can also be reached via the IP1 motorway linking Portugal and Spain.
Local Transport
Regular buses link Cabanas to Tavira and Faro as well as other seaside towns and villages along the coast. It is also possible to use the local train from Conceiçao Railway Station, which is a 10 minute walk from the villa. Additionally you can take a train ride along the coast to Faro, or go in the other direction to Vila Real de San Antonio and the border with Spain.
Car Hire
Car hire can be arranged for you by a local representative in the Algarve. Please let me know if you would like to use this service.

* For long winter holidays of 3 weeks or more in Winter 2009/Spring 2010, the rental price is £250 per week, plus an additional £25 per week for utilities. The refundable security deposit becomes £100 per fortnight, and is returned to you approximately 10 days after your holiday, provided the keys are returned to me and the villa, pool and garden is left clean and tidy, without damage or loss. Maid and pool service is weekly. After an initial provision by Casasol of gas bottles and seasoned logs for the wood burning fire, additional supplies are payable at the client's own expense. Bookings are made on a Saturday to Saturday basis during High and Peak season.
Please ask for details regarding flexibility for alternate changeover day at other times.
