Villa Casasol is a 40 minute drive from Faro Airport in the district of Tavira in the countryside of the Eastern Algarve where vines, orange, olive, fig, carob and almond trees are cultivated. It is 500 metres from the Ria Formosa Lagoon, the beach and the holiday and fishing village of Cabanas de Tavira, as well as 4 new golf courses, one within a 5 minute drive!

The villa is set in a quiet suburban area of Cabanas. It is a 5 minutes walk from the villa to the lagoon, beach and Cabanas with its friendly bars, shops and restaurants - so you don’t have to drive - either to get to the beach - or to have a drink and a meal in the evenings! The village has a small bank, a daily fruit, vegetable and fish market, as well as a weekly local market to hunt for souvenirs.

To the east of Cabanas, lies the picturesque village of Caçela Velha overlooking the Ria Formosa Lagoon, and easy access to many excellent local beaches such as Manta Rota, Praia Verde, Cabeço and Fabrica. There are regular bus and train services along the coast to Faro, the capital of the Algarve, and to the border town of Vila Real de San Antonio.

If you are seeking entertainment, a visit to the Casino at bustling Monte Gordo, or a trip to the pretty town of Tavira with its island, castle, old market and palm lined gardens and seafood restaurants along the riverside, are both within easy reach.

Casasol is a lovely detached villa sleeping 6 people, with a cot and highchair for a baby, and is comfortably and attractively furnished. Maid service is provided twice a week, with a weekly linen change, and all linen and towels (except beach towels) are supplied. There is a local manager nearby.
